Itinerary
Sailing trip in the Ionian Sea begins in Lefkada Town, where you can immerse yourself in the vibrant old town and enjoy the sunset over the bridge connecting the island to the mainland. After boarding and a short stroll through the local tavernas, we set sail toward Meganisi, known for its crystal-clear waters and peaceful coves. Here, you can try the "El Greco" mooring style, dropping the anchor in the middle of the bay and securing ropes to rocks on the shore. Once anchored, it's time to swim, snorkel, or relax on a SUP, surrounded by the beauty of Greek nature.
Continuing our journey, we reach Kalamos and Kastos – islands offering quiet anchorages and uncrowded beaches. These are perfect spots to enjoy some peace and quiet, take a walk through the villages, or explore the islands by bike, discovering their authentic charm and local character.

The next destination is Ithaca, the legendary homeland of Odysseus. In the port of Vathy, you can feel the spirit of antiquity as you stroll through its charming streets and learn about its history. The bays with rocky beaches invite you for a swim, and the local tavernas serve traditional dishes. From there, we head to Kefalonia, to Fiskardo, which preserved its historic charm after the 1953 earthquake. The welcoming waterfront and excellent Greek cuisine create an unforgettable atmosphere.
For the more ambitious sailors, a trip to Zakynthos is possible, but it requires good weather and planning due to the greater distance. Similarly, the western shores of the Ionian islands, while breathtaking, are only accessible in calm weather, ensuring safe anchoring.
At the end of the trip, we visit the port of Sivota, a perfect place for the last night, surrounded by picturesque landscapes and calm waters. On the way back to Lefkada, you can stop for a swim in one of the coves. Friday evening in Lefkada Town is the perfect way to finish the week – filled with Greek music, great food, and an unbeatable atmosphere. This sailing trip is one to remember for a lifetime, combining sailing passion with Greek culture and hospitality.
