Discover Croatia
Croatia is the most popular sailing destination in the world and the places we present on this page are some of the most popular out of hundreds of islands. A Dalmatia is a place where everyone will find something for themselves, whether it is to search for turquoise waters, jump from one bay to another, or explore land and visit the most famous cities.
Itinerary
Sailing in Croatia can be done in many different styles. The Adriatic, especially in summer, is known for gentle wind conditions with particularly small waves.
Starting from Central Dalmatia, you can explore the Å ibenik region, which has a lot to offer, including a visit to Krka National Park through the port of Skradin. This area also features a number of small ports and well-protected bays to swim and explore. From there, you can choose to head north through less populated islands or south to experience a more popular part of the archipelago.
Heading north, you can sail through Kornati National Park, known for its lunar-like landscape created by a lack of vegetation. It’s a perfect place to disconnect from civilization and its exceptional beauty.
Further north lies Dugi Otok, the longest island along this coastline, known for its dramatic cliffs. At the southern end, you'll find a deep bay and Telašćica Nature Park. Continuing north, you’ll arrive at Molat, an island with a lot of turquoise bays, perfect for relaxation. On the island of Iž, the small town of Mali Iž provides a charming glimpse of Croatia from the past, inviting visitors to step back in time.
From Central Dalmatia, you can also head south along a more popular route. It’s worth visiting Hvar, the most famous island, renowned for its excellent wine and charming ports like Stari Grad and Jelsa.
Our favourite island in this part of the coast is undoubtedly Šolta, particularly the port of Stomorska, with its picturesque harbour, and pleasant food (don’t miss the gnocchi). Continuing further south, you’ll find Vis, an island that feels isolated from the others. With a port of the same name, Vis offers many narrow bays ideal for anchoring and snorkelling.
You can return to the base marina through the well-known town of Primošten and stop for a swim at Kaprije. The sailing region in Croatia is vast, offering a variety of route combinations and stops to explore, so for more inspiration, check out our blog.

I started my sailing adventure with inland cruises, exploring Masuria, which developed into a great passion for water, wind and the sailing lifestyle. The beginning of sea expeditions is primarily the Baltic Sea and the North Sea. It was the northern seas of Europe that shaped me as a sailor and as a person.

The last few years have been marked by warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea, Croatia has become a second home and sailing is a way of life.

After sailing over 40,000 nautical miles, I am very happy to pass on my knowledge and spread my passion for sailing.
